Regardless of your beliefs, there is evidence that intercessory prayer can be helpful, especially if it is specifically requested and the person knows others are praying for them! If you are so inclined, you can request a prayer for me using this link to Silent Unity, which will activate a large network of people praying on my behalf. These prayers would be very helpful to me:
* That my son will be free of worry and anxiety, and free to enjoy his teenage life
* That my care providers will follow procedures correctly
* That cancer cells will get the message that they are trespassing and need to leave now (thanks to my hairdresser, who is in Divinity school, for this powerful prayer!)
* That all the steps I am taking to be as healthy as possible will support my spirit, mind and body to navigate the treatment plan on schedule
* That I will emerge from this odyssey with the ability to help others who are experiencing similar situations
My friend, I pray for your health to be improving everyday. I know you have the courage and strength already for this fight but I do pray that more will be in reserve as needed. Being a Father of an inspiring son, I pray that your son's worries and anxiety will subside as you recover every day. He is blessed to have you as his Mother. Your care providers are awesome so I pray for their continual professional care for your illness. Let's give your hairdresser a break! She earned it! I pray that your strength and courage never waiver. I know you to be a very determined woman so this will be. Reach one, teach one! Helping others is second nature for you.
